Papal My Ride

This morning, I heard on the news that President Bush will be picking up the pontiff at Andrews Air Force Base. There was mention of the Pope-mobile which always amuses me. The engineering marvel seems to be half truck and half greenhouse/menagerie. There’s only one other person that comes to mind that drives a mobile.


In a head-to-head drag race, who would win? Batmobile or the Pope-mobile? Before you hastily shout your answer evaluate each ride. Both are bulletproof. One could double as a Cash Grab booth at the mall. Based on the flames coming out of its rear, you’d think the Batmobile would trounce the angelic Pope-mobile. But the Pope may have some help.

    I'm pretty sure that old Batmobile could only get up to like 55mph. Popemobile in a landslide.

    I image the Pope-mobile would have some wind resistance issues, then again a little holy water could easily extinguish and any rocket-fueled propulsion. It's anybody's race.
