Police: Homicide Suspect Fell Asleep While Holding Couple Hostage in Kansas Home:"DOVER, Kan. — Authorities say the man who held a couple hostage in their Kansas home fell asleep and they escaped unharmed.
Topeka Police Capt. Jerry Stanley said Saturday that authorities then stormed the house, where they confronted the man.
The suspect was shot, but his injuries were not life-threatening."
